When I was young, I can remember watching my Mom get ready for work every day. She always looked polished. I don't ever know of her leaving the house without hair and makeup done.
As I got older, I started following the same routine. My friends knew they could count on me for hair and makeup help! I found out about attending beauty school as a junior in High School. And as a senior, I jumped right into attending both High School and Beauty School. It was busy, but very fun.
Just out of school, I worked in a salon for about one year. I found I wanted a little more excitement, so I started working behind the cosmetics counter at the local mall. I was just nineteen, and it was great!
Since then, I have held the position of Beauty Advisor, Freelance Makeup Artist, and Counter Manager for the top names in mall retail cosmetics. I have had extensive training through the years in skin care and color application.
During this time, I grew very fond of doing special occasion makeup. The excitement of the occasion and seeing the photos with the result are very gratifying! I have done makeup for all different types of weddings/occasions in all different settings for all nationalities and skin tones. (P.S. I speak Spanish)
My main goal for special occasions is to work with you to achieve exactly what you are looking for. You and I team-up to make it happen.
My goal in teaching is to educate you about your skin, and how to get the best result possible from skin care. You always want your best skin forward! I work to customize your skin care program for you.
I now enjoy staying home with my three-year-old son and working with fantastic women in a profession I love! I meet incredible women every day, and I am constantly impressed by how they touch my life.
